Deutsche Post – Semperoper Dresden

About this stamp

Deutsche Post – Semperoper Dresden. The fifth edition of the crypto stamp adds beautiful colors to the digital collecting world and enhances the series with an additional highlight of historic buildings in Germany.

The new crypto stamp features an AI-generated image of the "Semperoper," which is a landmark of the city of Dresden. It also represents its cultural significance with many important performances. The opera house was destroyed twice and rebuilt twice. The interior impresses with its elaborate ceiling paintings and decorations. Since the 18th century, Dresden has been one of the European music capitals and has had a permanent opera house since 1667. During the air raids on Dresden at the end of World War II, the Semperoper was almost completely destroyed in a fire on the night of February 13, 1945. Exactly 40 years later, in 1985, it was reopened, faithfully reconstructed according to the old plans, and shines in its glory.

The crypto stamp once again combines in an innovative way the ever-motivating physical stamp with its digital twin (NFT). The NFT is available in five colors and different rarity levels: Pink 2%, Blue 10%, Purple 25%, and Yellow 63%. As with all stamps in this series, an artificial intelligence (AI) has interpreted the motif of this impressive building.
